Late 16C English Given Names: Notes on Gillam

Late Sixteenth Century English Given Names

Notes on the name Gillam

Gillam: A form of William. One instance is apparently foreign: Gillam Vanden Borre, of St. Botolph Aldgate, London, seems to be from the Low Countries.
